Bible Study Homework Sheet

Hey Moms!

Silas and I had so much fun at playgroup this week. It was great to have some time to just visit with everyone and get to know those of you who are newer to the group. Thanks Sarah V. for leading our song time, that was great!

Now that playgroup is done, we are looking ahead to next week's Bible Study. Eventually we will get Danell's materials up on our web site, but while we are working on all of that I just wanted to post the verses that were on the study sheet in case you misplaced your copy and want to be preparing yourself for Thursday.

First of all, we are memorizing Philippians 1:9-10
"And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and be pure and blameless until the day of Christ."

The following are the verses that focus on God's excellence. The directions were to read over them, think and pray about the verses and how they apply to your life, maybe check the cross references. Write out a prayer to the Lord concerning your thoughts.

We are already getting excited to see what the next Bible Study will bring. Remember to lift up our fellow moms in prayer this week, not only the requests that were shared at group, but also that God would be faithful to reveal Himself as we seek Him in our devotion time. Also pray for Danell as she prepares our study for this week.

As an FYI...there will be changes made to the child care situation before next week in order to better serve our precious kiddos. We will be adding a third room and more help so that the ratio numbers will be down and so that the teachers can facilitate activities within the rooms. Thank you for your patience as we iron out the kinks!
