An investment in our kids

We are all so excited about how amazing our last few bible studies have been with the Westport Moms. We've had great turnout, fabulous teaching and a real depth and openness that I have not seen in years in a group where pretty much everyone is new! So, congrats ladies on making our fall kickoff a real success. We give all praise to God.

As you know, we have childcare provided during the bible studies. This is an absolute necessity to us being able to have some quality time together. We have relied on church volunteers until now, but unfortunately to provide the high quality of care for our kids, we NEED MORE PEOPLE! So, we are now going to have paid childcare workers so ensure adequate ratios of adults to kids, and a safe and happy situation all around. We also want to make sure ALL moms can participate EVERY week in the study.

So in order to have paid workers, we are going to ask each mom to pay $5 per study (it's a flat rate, regardless of how many kids you have). You can "pay in advance" if you want.

This will start at our next study, Thursday November 6th. 

We are in the interviewing and hiring process, so if you know of anyone who would like to - (a) volunteer or (b) be paid - to help with the kids, email us at westportmoms@gmail.com. We do background checks and check references as part of the application process (for both volunteers and paid people).

So to recap:

- Starting Nov 6th, bring $5 per study to pay for childcare

- Please bring cash only! This will simplify our process of paying the childcare workers.

- We don't want any moms to miss out because of financial reasons. Let us know if you need assistance.
