The Baby Boom Continues!

Congratulations to Kyle, Lisa, Madeline and Marin Corrigan! Last night they welcomed little Maddox (Max) Corrigan to their family. He was 7 pounds 14 ounces and 21 inches, born at 8:45 pm.

As many of you know, Lisa went in yesterday morning at 7:30 to be induced. After a long day of very little progress, things got busy super fast last night. At 8:00 the nurses checked Lisa and she was still only at 4cm. By 8:30 she was having a lot of pain and low blood pressure and when the nurse came back in to check her she had completely dilated to 10cm and Maddox was ready to come out. Due to the quick progression, both Lisa and Max were under a lot of stress. Following the delivery the nursing staff quickly worked on the baby to get his blood pressure regulated and get him breathing on his own. Although there were a few minutes of stress, he quickly perked up and responded to their efforts. Lisa had a lot of bleeding and trauma, but she said the doctor did a great job caring for her and was able to get things under control as fast as possible. Kyle was Super Dad and Super Husband through all of this, supporting both Lisa and Maddox.

Today Lisa is tired but doing much better. Max is handsome and healthy and very laid back. Marin and Maddie were able to go and see their new brother this morning and the family hopes to be home by tomorrow afternoon.

We are so proud of Kyle, Lisa, and Max! Lisa cannot wait to show off her new addition. Keep praying for a healthy recovery for her and a smooth transition home for her and Max.
